Xiaofei & Xiaohe Grindelwald
It was an intimate wedding for two of us in early October, held in Grindelwald. The ceremony took place in a cozy chalet. The chalet’s owner kindly provided us with a private, undisturbed setting **with a beautiful view**. I remember visiting the location for the first time in the late afternoon as the sun was setting. The Eiger, with its year-round snow, stood in front of the chalet, glistening in the golden sunlight. In the distance behind, it was the Jungfrau. In October, the morning sun would slowly rise over the Wetterhorn, casting its warm glow on the dewy grass. Sunlight would sparkle on her hair.
Watching her walk down the aisle with her bouquet and seeing the two of them look at each other made me realize that love is something you can’t hide, it shows in your eyes and your smile. This is why we love planning elopement weddings. Every time we see a couple exchange vows in such a beautiful setting, we’re moved to tears. We’ve had so many clients tell us it’s the most beautiful place they’ve ever seen. I often find myself thinking, if I could do it all over again, I would also want to have a small wedding in the mountains, surrounded by nature and romance.
After the ceremony, we went to the town of Grindelwald and took photos **with the hillside dotted with charming chalets as our backdrop**. We then took a train to Kleine Scheidegg. There, we captured some beautiful shots of the couple inside the train. I love the storybook feel of train photos. From Kleine Scheidegg, you have a stunning view of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. In early autumn, they were already covered in snow, looking incredibly beautiful under the sunlight.
