I’m Ruxin, a mother of two, and the founder of Rooxi Studio. After graduating from the Royal College of Art, I embarked on a career as a color designer for a prominent automotive company. However, in 2020, I made a life-changing decision to leave that job and relocate to Switzerland for love. This move ignited a transformation within me, leading me to pursue my passion for exploration and aesthetics by becoming a photographer and travel blogger. My journey as a visual storyteller began here, in this enchanting Swiss landscape, where every corner held a new sense of wonder. Unlike many photographers, I didn’t start with a formal photography background. The sheer novelty of my Swiss surroundings and the breathtaking vistas that unfolded before me inspired a sudden desire to capture and share the beauty I encountered. Photography, for me, has evolved into a powerful tool for connecting more profoundly with the world around me. Each time I capture an image that resonates with me, it fills me with excitement, transforming the mundane aspects of daily life into something intriguing and delightful.

In many Asian cultures, there is a strong emphasis on pre-wedding photoshoots, where couples capture their love in various settings prior to the actual wedding day. In Europe, on the other hand, wedding photography predominantly takes place on the wedding day itself, often following a documentary style, akin to a reporter’s role, focused on recording the events of the day as they unfold.
My vision, as a photographer, diverges from the traditional approaches. I believe in infusing an artistic touch into each moment, turning the present into a dreamlike experience. My aim is to transport my clients as close as possible to their very own fairy tale in the enchanting backdrop of Switzerland. I aspire to create images that evoke the same moodiness and deep emotions found in movies, whisking them away to a dream world that resides within. With my lens, I strive to capture the most exquisite love stories, making them as vivid and emotional as the scenes from a captivating film.
